Hudson Unearth
Hudson Unearth
Hudson Unearth CIC supports the development of folk, indie, and world music artists, helping them to establish long-term, sustainable careers in the music industry.
Our work provides music production and live performance opportunities, vital regional industry pathways, exposure to a large network of creative freelancers and partners, and advice and guidance delivered by music industry professionals.
Like our sister organisation, Hudson Records, we are committed to making music that matters and to serving the community that nurtures folk music tradition in the United Kingdom.
Established in 2016 by renowned music producer Andy Bell, Hudson Records is recognised as an exciting young Yorkshire & UK Indie label, supporting Folk, Indie, and World Music artists to produce and release award-winning records.
Hudson Unearth supports music creators by capitalising on the skills, experience, and professional networks gained through years of hard work and financial investment spent developing a prominent record label. The organisation provides opportunities for developing artists to connect with music industry professionals and build their team, including collaboration with award-winning songwriters, asset creation with award-winning filmmakers, introductions with music agents and promoters, showcase opportunities at high-profile regional and national festivals, and chances to present their work to publishers and sync. This development is underpinned by the production of new and original works released as compilations named the Hudson Unearth Series. We expose developing artists and their works to new audiences, including subscribers to the Hudson Club, our very own online artist community platform.
